INSURANCE CLAIMS

We have helped homeowners file claims for the past seven years and have done so with just about every insurance you have ever heard of so it's for sure that we have filed claims with your insurance company. We will call your insurance claims department with you present to hear the call being made. Their representative will ask me questions about the damage to your property and ask you for your policy number or other way of identifying you as the property owner. During that call the rep will assign a claim number to you. Within a couple of days your adjuster will call you and set up an appointment to inspect your property. We will come and meet with the adjuster at his/her appointed time so that we are all "on the same page" with how to proceed from there.

There is a new law in Texas called Texas House Bill HB2102 that went into effect on Sept.1, 2019 that says it is illegal for contractors to pay, absorb, waive, rebate or offset the deductible for the homeowner in ANY WAY. Contractors that continue the practice of "helping to pay" the homeowners deductible can be jailed for this practice. Also, homeowners that knowingly accept, submit or allow their deductible to be absorbed by the contractor are also liable. It used to be an accepted practice by contractors in order to "keep pace with the competition". This is now serious business, insurance companies are requesting proof of paying the deductible by the homeowner by way of viewing front and back copies of the processed check. We enjoy our weekends at home with friends and family as much as the next guy. We don't want to go to jail any more than you do so, NO we do not pay the homeowners deductible. As an option, we can help assist in financing the deductible through a lender.
